International Service

International Service. Charged with the Punta Gorda Rotary Club's support of international projects. The club has recently funded the Shelter Box, needs for a Honduras orphanage, global grants, and a Ukraine Refugee Relief Project. GG 2095259, Water4Life Mozambique, was funded for 2020-2021; and GG2099950, Improving Maternal & Child Health in Thomassique, Haiti, 2022-2024.

We recently completed Global Grant #2095259, Water4Life Mozambique (2020-2021), with the Beira Rotary Club, and we are working on Club Partnership for Water4Life Mozambique II (2021-2222).  We also are the international club on GG #2099950, Improving Maternal & Child Health in Thomassique, Haiti (2021-2022), with the Hinche Centre Rotary Club, and we are partnered with the Palmetto Rotary Club and Medical Missionaries located in Virginia.

Additionally, give ongoing support to our member Rotarian Rosa Benghtt’s work with an orphanage in Honduras, and we sent over 100 wheelchairs to Central American in 2018.
